Creating New Opportunities with an MBA Distance Education ProgramThere’s one thing that many business leaders have in common – a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA). If you are interested in bettering your career options, pursuing an MBA may open doors that you’ve never dreamed of before. For many people, there simply isn’t enough time to attend a business school. It’s difficult to coordinate class schedules against a work schedule. Fortunately, an MBA distance education can solve the problem. There are a number of accredited universities that offer MBA distance education programs. Many of these universities started the distance education trend. Colleges like the University of Phoenix, DeVry, and Walden were among the leaders in establishing solid distance learning curriculums. Because of the demand for business degrees, the MBA program became a cornerstone of these colleges. The unprecedented growth of these online programs quickly caught the attention of many of the mainstream universities. It wasn’t long before they came to the realization that technology had made alternative learning approaches possible, and threat if they wanted to remain competitive, they would have to step up to the distance learning plate. Suddenly a number of popular state run universities were wading into the distance learning pool. Today, almost all universities offer some kind of distance learning program. The business curriculum remains one of the most popular. Many of the colleges offer a combination of classroom based curriculum (usually structured on evenings and weekends) and online assignments. Other programs are exclusively online. The student completes all assignments and discussion through an online connection. There’s never been a better time to pursue an online education, especially if you are interested in an MBA. You can easily enroll in an MBA distance education program, work at your own pace, and have a degree to show for it in just a few years. Other Distance Education Articles |
